libdbd-odbc-perl software package provides Perl Database Driver implementing ODBC for DBI, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdbd-odbc-perl
libdbd-odbc-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdbd-odbc-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdbd-odbc-perl *
You will get with libdbd-odbc-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
